Mural Process: What Happens When You Hire Me

Thank you so much for trusting me with your space - and congratulations on taking the first step toward personalizing your space with a custom mural!

I aim to make this process simple, collaborative and exciting from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Inquiry Form

Start by filling out my inquiry form with some general details about your space and vision.

2. Initial Consultation

I’ll reach out to gather more specific information about your project so I can fully understand your goals, style, and needs.

3. Proposal + Mood Board (Free)

After our consultation, I’ll create a custom proposal that includes:

  • A visual mood board

  • Estimated cost

  • General timeline

This is completely free and helps us make sure everything feels aligned before moving forward.

Side note: I always do my best to make murals as affordable and attainable as possible.

Pricing is based on industry-standard square footage rates and considers:

  • Level of detail and complexity

  • Surface type and difficulty

  • Accessibility (lifts, scaffolding, etc.)

  • Travel/location costs

4. Booking Your Project

Once we agree on scope and pricing, I’ll send over an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit.

This deposit covers:

  • Design time

  • Consultations

  • Custom mockups

  • Revisions

  • Securing your spot in my schedule

This ensures your project is prioritized and your timeline is reserved.

The remaining 50% is due upon project completion.

5. Design Phase

Once your deposit is received, I begin designing!

You’ll receive a few initial mural concepts based on our conversations and what I feel will best fit your space and vision. From there, we’ll collaborate and refine the design until it’s just right.

6. Mural Installation

Once the final design is approved, I move into the painting phase—bringing your mural to life!

7. Final Payment + Reveal

After the mural is complete, the remaining balance is due. Then you get to enjoy your new custom space!

Let’s get started!
